Pre-collaboration assessment
Influencer analysis: know the creator before your brand stands next to them.
Influencer analysis reviews the available content history and the commercial relationships of a creator for one specific brand. TubeDetect examines YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts and brings brand fit, content safety and the evidence behind the decision together in a short report.
From follower count to a collaboration decision
An account on your shortlist can have high reach. The question that matters for your brand is which content world that reach was built in. The language a creator uses regularly, the themes that repeat and earlier brand relationships should be visible before an offer goes out.
Creator analysis is not product discovery or campaign buying. Brand managers, agencies and social teams assess the candidates they already selected at this stage, and the final collaboration decision is made together with the campaign goals and the reasons recorded in the report.
How an analysis works with TubeDetect
Start by defining your category, brands, competitors and sensitivities in your Brand Profile. Then choose the platform and add the account username or the profile link. The review is based on the content that can be retrieved from the last six months.
- Verify the account and platform details and separate similarly named usernames.
- Read the data period and the access limits stated in the report.
- Review the decision, the three scores and the sourced findings together.
- Clarify the collaboration terms and share the report with your team or download it as a PDF.
Which questions does the report answer?
TubeDetect does not only show a number. Depending on the direction of the decision it explains why an account is recommended, why it is not, or under which conditions it should be assessed. The sources behind the findings and the data limits shape how that explanation has to be read.
| Assessment | Decision question |
|---|---|
| Suitability | Do the content line and the brand context overlap? |
| Content safety | Is there risk evidence that matters to the brand in the content that was reviewed? |
| Disclosure discipline | How does disclosure behave in the commercial content that was observed? |
| Evidence and scope | Which content supports the result and where was no access possible? |
Content that cannot be reviewed is not safe content
Deleted, private or unreachable posts are never presented as a complete history. YouTube transcript and comment coverage is assessed separately; Instagram and TikTok comments and spoken transcripts are outside the scope of the current version.
The report is a decision-support tool. A content safety result does not mean that nothing will ever go wrong, and it does not promise that the campaign will generate sales.
Frequently asked questions
Clear the decision before the brief.
Are influencer analysis and creator analysis the same thing?
In the context of a pre-collaboration assessment they describe the same need. Creator is the broader term; TubeDetect uses both expressions for the same review process on this page.
Does TubeDetect find influencers for me?
You add the account you want to review. The product focus is assessing the creator you selected for your brand and delivering a sourced report.
Which platforms are supported?
YouTube, Instagram and TikTok are supported. The data types that can be retrieved differ by platform, so the report has to be read together with those differences and the missing coverage.
